Zumal ich festgestellt habe, dass nach wie vor die eigentlich falsche Meinung besteht, die Ölqualität nach den SAE Klassen festzustellen. Die SAE Klassifizierung sagt lediglich etwas über das Fließverhalten den Öles bei unterschiedlichen Temperaturen aus. Diese trifft weder eine Aussage über Qualität noch Leistungsfähigkeit. Es gibt Öle als 20W - 50 die Superqualität haben und welche die absoluter Schrott sind .... wie zum Beispiel Zweitraffinate vieler NoName und Billiganbieter. Was viel interessanter für die Qualitätsbestimmung ist sind die API bzw. ACEA Normen. Bei API wird unterschieden zwischen S (Sozial ) Klassen und C (Commerzial) Klassen. Wobei die S Klasse für Fzg. mit Benzinmotor und die C Klasse für Fahrzeuge mit Dieselmotor gilt. Je höher der 2. Buchstabe dann im Alphabet ist umso besser ist das Öl. Für die Dicke schreibt BMW nun eine API KLasse SF oder höher vor. Man darf also auch SG oder SH oder höher fahren. Nur niedriger nicht ! Also wenn Ihr irgendwo ein Motorenöl 20W-50 mit API SE ( gibt es ! ) seht ..... Finger weg ! Prinzipell ist ein niedriger W - Wert günstig, denn das Öl ist im Kalten Zustand dünflüssiger je niedriger dieser Wert ist. Was heisst beim Kaltstart ist das Öl schnell an allen Schmierstellen im Motor angekommen. Nachteil niedriger W- Werte ist meist ein etwas höherer Ölverbrauch, was aber bei einem flüssigkeitsgekühltem Motor, wie bei der Dicken, nicht erheblich sein sollte. Je leistungfähiger Euer Öl ist um so länger kann man die Geschichte auch rausziehen. Ein Vollsythese Öl mit API SH verträgt schon mal 20000 km. Ein Öl auf Mineralölbasis altert schneller und kann nicht so viele Schwebstoffe aufnehmen. Dort sollte man wirklich 1 x im Jahr ran. Prinzipell gilt auch immer : Kein Ölwechsel ohne Filterwechsel. Es muss nicht die teuerste Brühe von der Tanke sein, aber man sollte schon auf Qualität und einen regelmässigen ( wie oben beschrieben abhängig von der Qualität ) Wechselintervall achten.
